Skin Tags: Welcome to Late 30s

Working for Levana Bratique often means getting texts from Judy that say stuff like, "You've just got to try this new sports bra! I saw it on Shark Tank." I've been excited to visit Judy for awhile now, since my youngest baby is weaning and I know I needed to get refitted. I want to buy myself the Noir Bra to celebrate a new phase for my body: post-breastfeeding boobs.

But, as I've mentioned to Judy a few times, I can't come in and get fitted until I take care of these darn skin tags in my armpits. They're making it uncomfortable to wear bras! As I creep closer to 40, my body has been celebrating by growing more skin tags.

The Cleveland Clinic assures me this is a normal part of aging, and that growing skin tags in my armpits is also normal. But the Cleveland Clinic doesn't have to go around looking for comfortable bras to support a large bust! I'm on a super long wait list to see a dermatologist who will freeze off the little armpit tags, since my doctor prefers snipping them and that just lets them grow back. For me, anyway.

My big project this week is trying some over the counter skin tag removal products until I can get in to see the doc. I was supposed to go get them snipped by my PCP this morning but she is out sick today. Even doctors are being hit by the winter muck, it seems.

Have any of you had success removing skin tags? Leave us a comment to share what worked best for you!
