Celebrate the Body You Rock Right Now

1st May 2017

At Levana Bratique, our whole mission is to provide support for all women. We're pretty darn proud of the products we find that not only hoist every size bust, but can do it with a touch of beauty and elegance, too. The only issue is that many times, we see our bras showcased on thin models

We decided that this month, we want to show our customers that we celebrate all bodies. We don't want you to have to compare yourself to models. We want you to feel good about your body. We want you to know that you're beautiful right now. We want to show some body diversity! To do this, our founder Judy has decided to show you what our bras look like on her!

We brought in a photographer and had Judy model some of our favorite styles so you can see what these bras look like on a "real" person. Judy rocks a size 14/16 pant, size L or XL top, and size 34L (UK34HH) or 36K (UK36H) bra, depending on the style. Side note: do you see why bra fitting is an art? Even the bra whisperer needs various sizes depending on the manufacturer!

First up, Judy modeled the Matilda bra by Elomi. We gushed about this bra a lot last month. Matilda is sheer and sexy, unlined with seamed cups that shape to your bust. The wide straps can also be configured as a racerback for added support if you need it.

Now you can also see how sexy Matilda looks on a real person! And remember: this bra doesn't just look good. It supports your bust comfortably.

Next, Judy slid into the Gladys bra by Ewa Michalak. Gladys might be a name most popular in the 1890s, but this ain't your great-granny's bra.

Gladys is unpadded, but gives the effect of a padded bra by shaping and elevating your bust. She's made from a thicker material that fits without added bulk or without seeming flimsy. As with all Ewa bras, Gladys has side support to draw your bust in.

The bottom of the cups is made from a shiny, stable knitwear while the top half is made from a double-layered elastic tulle to adjust to the shape of your bust, even if you have asymmetrical breasts.

Doesn't Gladys look great on Judy?

Finally, Judy tried on the SheFit Ultimate sports bra. If you've been following us for the past few months, you know we love to talk about this bra! It's fully customizable in the band and the straps (you can make it a racerback or regular sports bra style) and has tons of features for added comfort. This is a serious bra for a serious bust. We think SheFit does a great job showing their bra on a wide variety of models, too, but it just looked so great on Judy in this color that we wanted to add her to show you a real women who looks amazing in it.

Have you seen any bras modeled by real women recently? We always love getting pictures of our customers wearing our products. Feel free to share them with us if you're inspired!
