Let Love Shine Through

With the recent events in Charlottesville and the changing landscape we live in, it’s difficult to go about our daily tasks without saying something. I can’t express how heartsick we are over the racism and hatred that was displayed. 

When I see these acts committed in Charlottesville and around the word, I can’t help but feel so distraught and discouraged. We’ve come so far only to take a major step back. That makes my heart heavy. It makes me worried for the state of our country, for our children, and our children’s children.

Despite all that, I believe that we have the ability to make a change in this world. I believe that love and hope shine brighter than intolerance and extremism. It’s this hope that shines brighter than the worry. It makes me want to act, even if it’s just by making one little change in my day. I feel like I am leaving the world a kinder place when I go to sleep at night than when I woke up that morning.

Levana Bratique was founded on the idea that all people deserve to feel confident in their bodies with a well-fitting bra. When you feel confident, you’re empowered to take charge and stand up for your beliefs.

While I love helping each and every person find a bra that works for them, it’s been my absolute pleasure to see confidence come alive in so many. Confidence is more than just wearing something that makes you feel good. It’s believing that you’re doing something to make the world a better place. One person can’t stop these horrible acts from happening, but if we work together, united we can make a difference.

Finally, I would like to emphasize that everyone is welcome here. We are on the side of love, kindness, and hope. Hate and violence have no place in this world and certainly no place at Levana Bratique. We want everyone who walks through these doors to feel comfort and peace. You are welcome here.
