Staying Comfy without AC

19th Jun 2017

We're talking a lot about comfort this month. Our bra of the month, Sugar Candy, is soft and seamless and totally comfortable. Perfect for kicking back at a summer concert or barbecue.

We talked a lot about our awesome bra tanks that let you wear just the tank, no matter the size of your bust. We can't say it enough: the tank IS the bra, even if you're a J cup.

But no matter how cool your tank top is, sometimes the summer humidity leaves you sticky, especially if you don't have central air conditioning.

Did you know there are actually strategies to arrange window fans that can lower the temperature in your house and keep you cool? Bob Vila's website explains the ins and outs of fan arrangement to maximize their power. Since fans are such an energy-efficient solution, we were excited to learn that strategically facing some fans out and some fans in can really cut into the heat.

We also love some of the tips in this article! Who ever thought to put sheets in the freezer before sticking them on your bed at night? Or freezing a sock full of buckwheat to chill our beds?

Between these tips and a big glass of iced mint lemonade, we are feeling pretty relaxed right now.

Apart from rocking a bra tank, what's your favorite tip to stay cool and comfortable in the summer?
