Transform with Levana

25th Sep 2017

We've been talking about self care all month because, as women, we have an awful tendency to put ourselves last. Self care can take many different forms, whether that means moving your body to increase heart health or paying attention to an injury that affects your body's health.

One form of self care we know a few things about is the "find a bra that fits you" experience. If you've been to our store in the past, you know what a difference it makes. When you've been cramming your body into a garment that doesn't fit well, and asking your body to wear that garment for 12+ hours...and then you put on a bra that fits you, supports you, flatters you...well.  There's really nothing quite like it.

To show you what we mean, we want to introduce you to Ann. Ann finally came to our store this month wanting a change. She was wearing a 36DD, and she was spilling out of the sides, top, and bottom of her bra. Also, the band was way too loose

Does that sound familiar? Many box stores don't even carry cup sizes above DD, so women might not even know the cups go right on down the alphabet. It turns out Ann is one of our many customers with a small band size and a large bust. Guess what? We have bras to fit that body type.

Ann met with our bra whisperer, was measured, tried on a few bras to perfect her size, and she ended up wearing a 34O. Oh my!

We actually found one bra that fit Ann best in size 36N. That's the beauty of the full service at our shop. Our employees know our bras, know our vendors, and know how to tweak sizing for a woman who wants to wear a specific style.

One of the bras Ann loved was our Biscuit Plunge Bra. You might be most familiar with this bra as a nursing bra. We like to joke that when we sell a Biscuit nursing bra, we often see customers come back with a younger sibling for their baby, because it's just so sexy! So many of our customers love Biscuit that we asked Ewa Michalak to produce it in a non-nursing version. While you can buy the nursing version anywhere, the non-nursing version is available exclusively from us.

Ann is sure glad she found Biscuit. This bra is uplifting and simple as it shapes the bust and draws in the side bust. This non-nursing version has removable pads for the correction of asymmetry and has some special details like a lace edge and a rhinestone at the center gore.

And look what a difference it's made for Ann! Her breasts are in front of her body, high up where they belong. In the before photo, her bust is at her elbows. Look at the lift difference her Biscuit bra has made. When she moves her arms, she no longer bumps into her breasts. We call this the Ewa Difference, but we also call this a transformation.

Ann took care of herself this month, in a way she will feel every day, every hour that she walks around in bras that support her properly and comfortably.
