Product Description

Gorgeous new bra with animal print and mesh fabrics.  Mesh layer is slightly sheer. Pair with the matching panties for a complete set. Also available in a full bust style.

Hand-sewn in Poland by Ewa Michalak.

Style: SF Wilma

NOTE: this bra has UK cup sizing, which we have converted to US sizes for you. This style runs snug in the band so some women prefer to go up a band size. For instance: if you are normally a 34H, you may want to try this bra in 36G.

Review for Ewa Michalak Wilma Sf

Posted by Lynn Greenspan on 28th Sep 2022

Wow. What a striking bra in person as compared to in images. This looks a lot less patchwork and more cohesive in hand as all the tones and patterns of the pieces work well together. It is the only SF I have that doesn't look like one due to the optical illusion of breaking up the style lines with the patterns. Even the PLM carries some of the trademark SF shape despite the cute diagonal lapel like upper band. Wilmas upper mesh band and center panel are made of 2 separate pieces of mesh which have an interesting rippled or dappled visual effect together whenever one moves about. It's sheer but not out there revealing if that makes sense. The other panels are a sleek micro knit material which cover a stable 3 piece sheer duoplex lining. This should breathe a little more than the bibi or gladzioch which are closer to industrial strength. Typical of Ewa patterning approach Wilma also has a deep cup and has a generously low cut armscye. What is also typical to the SF cut is tha t it's depth is specifically angled for forward facing shapes and carries a lot of volume directly across the horizontal aspect of the cups unlike with PL or BM or S cuts which are all deep in different areas in their own right. Wilmas center cup panel only stretched vertically so those who appreciate the separation in their SF should find the same amount of control here as well. SF is also the easiest style from Ewa to alter the straps to stay on as it only requires tilting the little solid fabric bit in the upper outer corner inward with a tiny dart- I didn't need to do this with Wilma but see that it is exactly the same shape and build as with regular SF from Ewa. As far the fit here is concerned Wilma suits as well as my other 2 SF cut which are more industrial strength. Despite having a very short breast I personally present very round and upper full so can technically get away with wearing this style from time to time as it is quite comfortable at the gore and sides unlike most bramakers offerings in the market. But it's definitely not the most friendly for average to wider bottom full breasts so as usual I get some under crumpling where my breasts try to pull the whole thing down to accommodate our oversized dimensions and the stretchy upper cup pulls into upper breast with a rather concave shape. This non quadding depression is specific to my own too wide and full shape issues. In this peculiar way it can be used to minimize my center fullness or play down how big my breast base is which is a really nice change of pace with wardrobe options. Wilma arrived in perfect unworn condition with tags clearly marked as all my other Levana orders have. This desire to allow a customer to know they are getting the size they ordered and in pristine condition is sadly startling. I wish I could say that much for other retailers which frequently send me high priced items that occasionally come with staining and stretched out straps and often are missing some vital information that helps rule out whether fit issue is the bra style or the size. Between very hard to find size and specific style needs I am not used to having a speedy delivery with as precise detail to stockroom orderliness and clearly well cared for items so it is somewhat shocking to have this much concern to the customer experience even though I'd long forgotten to hope for such things. This is not to slander anyone whose offering these products but feel it should be understood this business really is putting a lot of time and attention in for those who purchase with them and it truly shows. 35 years of trying to dress my breasts but only now finding a retailer that is just as invested. Absolutely impressed.
